CONCERNING
STIPULATION OF IMPORT DUTY TARIFF OF SOYBEAN

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Considering:

• a. that in the framework of maintaining the stability of domestic prices of soybean by observing the interest of the farmers and consumers, it is necessary to stipulate import duty tariff of soy bean;
• b. That based on the consideration as intended in a., and for the purpose of exercising provisions of Article 13 paragraph (2) Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs as amended by Law No. 17/2006, it is necessary to stipulate a Regulation of the Minister of Finance concerning the Stipulation of Import Duty Tariff of Soybean.

In view of:

• 1. Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs (Statute Book No. 75/1995, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612) as amended by Law No. 17/2006, (Statute Book No. 93/2006, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4661);
• 2. President Decree No. 20/P/2005;
• 3. Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 110/PMK.01/2006 concerning the Stipulation of Goods Classification System and the imposing of Tariff of Import Duty on Imported Goods;

With due observance on:

Result of the Limited Coordination Meeting of the Coordinating Minister of Economics Affair on January 14, 2008 about Control Policy Discussion on Basic Needs Prices:

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING STIPULATION OF IMPORT DUTY TARIFF OF SOYBEAN

Article 1

In this Regulation:

• 1. Customs Law is Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs as amended by Law No. 17/2006.
• 2. Customs Office is the office within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise where customs obligations are fulfilled in accordance with Customs Law.

Article 2

For the import of soybean (Pos Tariff 1201.00.90.00), the imposed import duty tariff is 0% (zero percent).

Article 3

The Import Duty Tariff as intended in Article 2 is fully applicable for the import of goods where its Import Customs Notification Document had obtained a Registration Number from the Customs Office at the entry port, accounted from the date this Regulation comes to effect.

Article 4

With this regulation becoming effective, provisions on the imposing of Tariff Post 1201.00.90.00 as stipulated in Minister of Finance Regulation No. 110/PMK.01/2006 concerning the Stipulation of Goods Classification System and the imposing of Tariff of Import Duty on Imported Goods, is declared as not effective.

Article 5

The implementation of this regulation shall be evaluated in the period of 3 (Three) month at the latest.

Article 6

This Regulation comes to effect from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this regulation shall be published by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
